Privacy Policy

How SwipeMuse handles waitlist data.

This policy explains what we collect from early access visitors, why we collect it, what services help us process it, and how to contact us about your information.

Effective date: June 5, 2026

This policy is written for the current SwipeMuse early access waitlist and beta workflow. The product is intended to help users complete legitimate research faster; it is not designed to bypass platform permissions, paywalls, login restrictions, DRM, or access controls. This policy should be reviewed by qualified counsel before a full paid launch or large-scale international rollout.

Information we collect

  • Contact information, such as your email address.
  • Profile information you choose to provide, such as role and current tools.
  • Feedback you submit, including workflow pain points, feature requests, and professional cohort answers.
  • Waitlist metadata, such as timestamp, source, UTM parameters, referrer, landing page, consent version, and feedback tier status.
  • Approximate location and device data, such as country, region, city, timezone, browser language, device type, and user agent.
  • Analytics and product experience data after you allow analytics cookies, such as page visits, clicks, heatmap signals, session experience data, and general conversion events.
  • Messages you send to us through email support.

How we use information

  • To operate the waitlist and confirm that your signup was received.
  • To send waitlist updates, standard onboarding resources, or template access instructions when available.
  • To review professional cohort eligibility and send controlled professional template access instructions when applicable.
  • To deliver first-year discount codes and beta invitations to qualified users.
  • To understand which roles, tools, pain points, and acquisition sources are most relevant to SwipeMuse.
  • To respond to support, privacy, and product feedback requests.

Professional template and discount review

Professional perks are reviewed manually. We may use your submitted email to ask follow-up questions, send controlled professional Notion Ad OS access instructions, deliver a first-year discount code, or invite you to beta testing. Submitting feedback does not guarantee professional template access or a discount code.

How we store and share information

Waitlist submissions are currently sent to a Google Apps Script workflow and may be stored in Google services such as Google Sheets. We may use third-party services for email delivery, analytics, waitlist tracking, template delivery, coupon delivery, beta access, and approximate geolocation. The current page attempts approximate country or region lookup through services such as GeoJS and country.is before form submission.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use waitlist or extension user data for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising. We share limited information with service providers only when needed to operate SwipeMuse, comply with law, investigate abuse or security issues, or complete a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity only after you allow analytics cookies in the cookie banner. If you reject analytics cookies, the current site does not load these analytics scripts for your browser. Analytics events are used to understand page visits, waitlist conversion, heatmaps, session experience, and general product interest.

Microsoft Clarity may set cookies such as _clck and _clsk to connect page views and session recordings after analytics consent is granted. Clarity may also use Microsoft cookies such as MUID for analytics and operational purposes. We do not use Clarity for personalized advertising, retargeting, or selling personal information.

We do not send email addresses, form text, ad account credentials, payment details, or confidential client materials to Google Analytics. The waitlist form is also marked for Clarity masking so submitted email addresses, roles, current tools, and feedback text are not intentionally captured in Clarity recordings.

Chrome extension and Limited Use

If you use a SwipeMuse Chrome extension during beta, the extension may handle information needed for user-facing features, such as the page URL you choose to save, visible page context, user-entered notes, selected Notion workspace or database information, and authentication or connection data needed for the Notion sync you authorize. SwipeMuse uses this information only to provide or improve the extension's stated research and Notion workflow features, provide support, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.

SwipeMuse does not collect browsing activity in the background for unrelated purposes. It does not sell, transfer, or use extension user data for advertising. Human review of user-submitted data is limited to support, abuse/security investigation, legal compliance, or manually reviewing feedback that you submit for professional cohort eligibility.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for an early access product, including secure HTTPS transmission where personal information is submitted to our services. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please do not submit passwords, ad account credentials, payment card numbers, or confidential client materials through the waitlist form.

Your choices

  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of waitlist information by emailing us.
  • You can opt out of product update emails by contacting us or using any unsubscribe mechanism we provide.
  • You can choose not to provide optional feedback fields, although that may affect professional cohort eligibility.

Retention

We keep waitlist and feedback information for as long as reasonably needed to operate early access, evaluate beta users, prevent abuse, maintain records of consent, and communicate about SwipeMuse. If you request deletion, we will make reasonable efforts to delete or anonymize your waitlist information unless we need to retain limited records for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or operational reasons.

International and state privacy rights

Privacy laws may give users in certain regions additional rights. If you believe a specific privacy law applies to your request, email us and include your country or state of residence. We will review and respond based on the information available to us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as SwipeMuse moves from waitlist to beta and paid product stages. The effective date above indicates the latest published version.
